When somebody in your circles loses a child it catches you off guard. My heart breaks with what I cannot really even let myself start to imagine.
Today I am thinking of a beautiful little blonde-haired girl and praying for a family in anguish.
Today I am remembering that parenting is, of all things, the sweetest privilege we are given.
Tonight I am grateful for 2 little boys healthy and lovely and for a 4-year-old who stopped me on the way out of his room with a whispered ‘Mummy I love you’.
Master 4 and I planted seeds this afternoon. We will wait and look forward to new life coming from small seeds buried.
And with Master 1 we sat together and listened to the sound of buttons dropping into a glass jar.
Some things are worth doing slowly. Some things are for savouring.
