For Better and Worse

On Saturday we celebrated.

The Cufflinks

I was reminded very much of this proverb ‘Even in laughter the heart may ache’.

We have waited and anticipated but none of us had quite anticipated this.

The florist changed

The proceedings moved

The hairdresser closed

The caterer cancelled

The organiser elsewhere

The music changed

The minute silence unbroken

The boys trousers not yet bought

Some guests no longer living

Others no longer attending

The bride Radiant

The groom Handsome

The love palpable

We celebrated with them and we wish them a life time of happiness and always a safe place with one another from the storms of life.

Loving you guys
