On Thursday The Atlas took the day off and we went to the A&P Show with our boys and the lovely Juliet (and munchkins) joined us too.

The Show is an investment – it ends up being a bit with tickets and rides and food but I think it is worthwhile.

I tend towards spending money on ‘stuff’ rather than ‘experiences’. But when my boys are big they are far more likely to remember the events of their lives and the experiences we invested in, than they will what we bought them for their last birthday.

This week I am grateful for the opportunities afforded to us living in this beautiful place

A husband who wants to spend time with his family enough to take a day off

The financial means to do this

Boys who include others and love making new friends

Bounce who said ‘This is cool’ while he watched the motorbike jumps

and Flip who waits all year for the bungy trampolines

and weather that meant we didn’t get soaked while we did it all!
